What is grey noise?

Grey noise is random sound shaped by an equal-loudness curve, so that it sounds equally loud at every pitch to the human ear. The ear is less sensitive to very low and very high sounds, so grey noise turns those up; it sounds flatter and more even than white noise.

Questions

How is grey noise different from white noise?
White noise has equal power at every frequency. Grey noise is adjusted to how hearing works, so it sounds equally loud at every frequency instead.
